There are two possible flows, depending on how much detail you add to your listing:

1. You set up Bookable Services (prices, durations, availability)

  • What the customer sees:
    A neat booking widget with a date-and-time picker, quantity selector, and an Instant Booking Request button.

  • What you receive:
    A structured email that spells out
    • the exact service(s) chosen and unit prices
    • requested date, time, and quantities
    • the customer’s contact details

2. You list only your business details (no prices)

  • What the customer sees:
    A Request Pricing form where they type what they need and hit Send Request.

  • What you receive:

  2. Send your own invoice or payment instructions directly to the customer.

No—verification fee is one-time.

No. Naija.Events doesn’t touch your money. When a client sends a booking or pricing request, you invoice them directly and keep 100 % of what you charge.

We charge zero platform fees or commissions and never sit between you and your client’s payment.

  • Event Website Clients (Premium Plan): Yes. If you’ve subscribed to a custom Event Website under our Premium plan, we can connect your Paystack or Flutterwave account directly to your site. A one-time setup fee of ₦50,000 applies.

  • Vendors & Venues (Directory Listings): Not applicable. Bookings on the main Naija.Events site do not use a unified checkout. All payments are handled offline or through your own invoicing process. When an booking request or enquiry comes in, you quote, invoice, and collect payment directly from the client.

  2. You receive an email + dashboard alert with all the details.

  3. You reply with availability and your own invoice or payment link.

Yes. With a Pro listing you receive one complimentary profile refresh each year. Additional content updates (images, menus, price lists) can be handled by our support team for a small service fee or included in premium Spotlight packages.

Naija.Events uses SSL encryption, Paystack’s PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing, and regular security audits on our hosting infrastructure. Vendor data is never shared with third parties without permission.

Absolutely. Upgrades are applied instantly (pro-rated). Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
